When a contact's categories are edited (added/removed categories to existing contact), clicking OK in the Edit Contact window closes both the Edit Contact window and the Select Categories window. However, the newly [de]selected categories are not saved. So clicking OK has the same effect as clicking Cancel. In other words, data loss.

This bug is branched off of bug 153751.

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
