Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Some applications show first an empty gray area before the contents are drawn:

1. The whole akregator window is gray when it commes out of the systray. Some milliseconds later the real contents are shown.

2. The same as 1. for kmail, kopete and konversation.

I guess it is an graphics drivers/card / Xorg issue. What are your card and versions? Thanks

(I'm getting something similar here on Xorg-server 1.6 + intel2.6.3 on a Intel GMA x3100 on Archlinux)

I am using:

- Opensuse 11.1
- X.Org X Server 1.5.2
- (--) RADEON(0): Chipset: "ATI Radeon Mobility X300 (M22) 5460 (PCIE)" (ChipID = 0x5460)

I see the same problem in KDE 4.3 from svn.

Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in recent versions ( KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher). Thanks.
