Description dckorah 2009-04-23 10:55:58 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I came across this one while I was using console VIM in tabbed mode.
If you have multiple files open you get a little 'X' on top right corner of the window which you can click on to close the active tab.
On konsole, the clickable area corresponding to that 'X' seems to be shifted to the left by almost half the character width.
I tried that in gnome-terminal and seems working as I would expect.
Please see the attached screen-cap videos for better understanding.

Can you try a more updated version of KDE? 4.3.x

I tried it on kubuntu 9.10 ( KDE 4.3.2 ) and it is still an issue.
It is worse if I use an Oblique font setting for the console. Issue is there even in normal font, but the click area difference is minor.

Still an issue in 4.10

yep - not sure how easy it will be to figure out why
