Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs I have a version of knotes which is still affected by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189050 . I don't know if this bug is related to that. I realized that changing knotes to RTF mode eliminates https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189050 , but all toolbar stuffs disappear when knotes is not the active window! The toolbar of the bottom line disappears, and the title bar changes on the top (even the close button disappears). Activating the windows reverts the problem.
My knotes version is: kde4-knotes-4.2.2-107.6
seems a bit confusing, I presume by "window" you mean the virtual desktop? Or did you mean a second screen? FWIW, I can't reproduce this with KDE 4.10
