If you move the Calendar on your desktop, do you get this high CPU usage too ? This seems related to bug 187699 Thanks

Since the title matches exactly my problem, although it's not related to having eidgets added to desktop/panel, I will report my problem in this thread The problem I have is that in kde4.2.2 the plasma process is using a lot of cpu since the kde session is initiated, and seems to use even more after some time. I have a dual processor 1833Mhz laptop, with 3,2Gb of RAM.
