Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Bug:

1. Select more than 100 images
2. Select in Kipi-Plugins Send Pictures by Mail
3. When the Program sends the pictures to kmail, it opens for each picture a window showing the progress of attaching the pictures which results in total slowdown as 100 windows are shown

Solution:
As Windows XP: Show the progress in ONE window instead of opening 100

I think this is a general kde problem. It also happens when you try to attach 100 files to kmail.

1. Click on new email
2. click on attach
3. select 100 files
4. 100 windows are opened to show the progress -> total slowdown

kde 4.2.2. and kmail 1.11.2

but this problem also exists in kde 3.5.x and the old kmail. The difference is, that the many windows closed a little bit quicker

This issue cannot be reproduced with recent versions. Closing
