Description Wayne Smith 2009-04-22 02:52:03 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), MS Visual Studio 2005 SP1)
Compiler: cl.exe
OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional)

kblocks (KDE 4.2.0) used to crash only occasionally--usually, when the movement keys were pressed immediately upon a new block showing up (or when the keys were pressed repeatedly in sequence).

blocks (KDE 4.2.2) crashes in *every game*. I can't make it to a suitable endpoint. I use the "Hard" setting, in case that makes a difference.

I could not reproduce any crash.
Does kblocks still crash with KDE 4.2.3?
Did you compie KDE yourself or did you use the installer from KDE on Windows Project?
Which Windows Version do you use?
Have you tried to uninstall and install KDE or can you reproduce the crashes on another Windows installation?

clicking "debug" closes the application--but clicking "more info" provides this dialog box

I am also experiencing this bug, or at least something similar.

I am using Kubuntu 9.04 (amd64) with kernel 2.26.28-15, KDE 4.2.4, Kblocks v0.1.

Pressing keys once is ok, but if I press and hold the Down arrow down to move blocks down quickly. the application freezes and will not respond.

Thanks
Nathan

This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then.

Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources.

If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

(To prevent automatic closing of this bug in the future, please set the bug status to ASSIGNED or CONFIRMED)
