Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler:          gcc 4.3.1 CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -msse2 -msse3"
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

From a new memo, format some text with color (eg change text to blue).  Copy that text into another new memo, and it reverts to black.  Can the formatting color be kept on paste, please?

Reassigning to KNotes, as I assume that is what you mean with "memos".

No, I actually mean new email - as in being in KMail and typing a new email message to someone (the "memo" thing comes from being a 10-yr Lotus Notes admin where everything is referred to as memo, bad carry-over).
