Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) Compiler: gcc-4.3.2-r3 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages Batch > Convert Images (from tiff 16 to jpg, remove originals) > Start > ...wait... > OK, then crash. When I restart digiKam-0.10.0, my newly created jpgs have proper thumbnails but file sizes are reported as 0. Restarting digiKam or doing Tools > Scan for New Images doesn't help with getting their proper sizes displayed.

I can't reproduce the problem here with current implementation... Andi ?
I can confirm the crash! Happens as soon as you hit "close". Andi
I've made some changes in current SVN, maybe they fixed the problem. Can you test it? Andi
DrSlony, we have released a new KIPI-plugins version, can you try to check if the problem is still occurring to you? Andi
I will close this one now, I'm sure it is fixed. Feel free to re-open it when you discover the crash with kipi-plugins 0.3.0 or current SVN version. Andi
Sorry I cannot test it, I don't use the SVN version only the one from Gentoo portage.
Well then portage will have 0.3.0 soon I guess... But I'm sure it is fixed, because this is exactly the same backtrace I had as I fixed it. Andi
