Although there is jabber in the list I think it would be a good idea to also have a gtalk connection wizard considering the popularity of the client.

I agree, configure kopete jabber to connect to gtalk is too hard for normal user.

Configuring GTalk in Kopete is easy now as autodetection of server working. You just need to specify JID & password and thats all. Other Connection settings are not needed anymore (default working fine). So steps on https://support.google.com/talk/answer/57557?hl=en are old & obsolated.
