Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

When I try to download pictures from my Kodak Z740 camera Digikam seems to recognize the camera but crashes with the message Sig 6 (SIGABRT).Here is the backtrace:

There is no debug symbol. backtrace is unsuitable...

This crash is not reproducible use current 5.8.0 pre-release bundle available
here :
