Description Christoph Bartoschek 2009-04-18 18:32:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Sometimes when I want to unlock the screen I see that not the whole screen is covered by the screensaver. I attach a picture of my display showing the problem.

This does not happen all the time. I tried to reproduce it by just setting the screensaver timeout to 1 minute. But when I want to unlock the screen it is black as expected.

However waiting for more than 30 minutes shows this problem. But I am not sure whether this happens all the time.

Maybe it has something to do with powersaving. Maybe it only occurs when the notebook goes in a deeper power save mode.
