Description Holger Dörnhoff 2009-04-18 16:16:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

KDE 4 uses:
KiB instead of KB for KiloByte
MiB instead of MB for MegaByte
GiB instead of GB for GigaByte

This is strange/stupid/silly.
Comment 1 Pino Toscano 2009-04-18 16:29:30 UTC
KiB (KibiByte) is not the same as KB (KiloByte), see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibibyte .
They are not strange, nor stupid nor silly; just another unit.
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-04-19 16:52:03 UTC
Closing as INVALID as this is not a bug.
Thanks
