Version: 1.11.2 (using KDE 4.2.2) Compiler: gcc (Gentoo 4.3.3-r2 p1.1, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.3 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages If a message has a colon (:) in its title, it is sometimes impossible to save the message as an mbox file using Right Click>Save As. For example, I have a message I sent with the title "URGENT: Document for Signature". It is in my sent items folder. I want to save it to a relevant place in the file system. I do Right Click>Save As and get a dialog that pops up saying: URL cannot be listed URGENT:/ With an OK button. Clicking the OK button causes the dialog to disappear and reappear instantaneously. Clicking it again causes a file selection dialog to appear, but with URGENT:/ at the top where a directory should be. By entering a path and file name manually, it is sometimes possible to save the message, but sometimes this fails too. Message titles that begin Re: do not seem to cause this problem, and nor does a message title that begins "Our Ref: 1015.001 Your Ref: ".
I can not find the other bug with the same problem. :-( As a workaround, place quotes in the filename before saving "<filename>".
reproducable with KDE 4.3.1 but fixed with r1020592
