Description Ernest N. Wilcox Jr. 2009-04-17 09:06:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Non of the Administrative configuration utilities included with systemsettings provide a means for switching to root authority. Under KDE3, the utilities included with Kcontrole such as the KDM configuration utility provided a button which could be pressed to get a dialogue to enter the root password so the utility could be executed with root authority (e.g.: the user was able to edit the KDM configuration as root). I think this behaviour should be restored in KDE4
