Description Praedor Tempus 2009-04-16 21:57:38 UTC
Version: 1.10.4 (using 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-desktop-1mnb

Often when trying to send a website link from the konqueror File menu ("Send link address") kmail will hang, particularly (it seems) with multiple recipients (To, and multiple CCs) designated. I have now found that it also has trouble sending to multiple recipients, as above, when sending from directly within kmail.
I attempted to send a set of 4 jpeg pics to multiple recipients twice and in each case, upon hitting send, kmail hung with for an indefinite period of time before I finally had to close the email window by hitting "X" (the kill button) in the window frame. After 5 seconds, the message comes up that kmail is not responding and do I want to continue or terminate the app. There are no obvious error messages produced, and no core, but here is what appears to be relevant entries in my .xsession-errors file coincident with the hang and the resulting requirement to kill kontact/kmail:

Can you reproduce the issue with KDE > 4.2.3 (and Qt > 4.5) ?
Comment 2 Björn Ruberg 2010-02-22 13:06:14 UTC
Can you please report back?
Comment 3 Praedor Tempus 2010-02-22 17:31:41 UTC
I am not seeing the problem thus far with KDE 4.3.2, Mandriva 2010.0.

Thanks for reporting back! I'm closing this for the moment - simply report when you have this problem again.
