Description Kvikende 2009-04-16 19:25:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When I try to open a password protected 7-zip file in Ark, Ark hangs. Opening the same file in GNOME's File Roller works fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a password protected 7-zip file in Ark
2. Watch it crunching away without really doing anything

Actual Results:
I have to kill it. Content of 7-zip archive is never shown.

Expected Results:
Asking me for the password, then showing me the content of the archive.

Changing severity to NORMAL, as the program does not crash, it simply stands
idle waiting for command line input, just like bug 188556.

SVN commit 965520 by metellius:

BUG: 189825
7z was missing the property for password support. Also, adding and deleting.
