Description Monolith 2009-04-15 23:37:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When Phonon Backend is set to GStreamer, Amarok is not playing anything. When setting changed back to Phonon Backend Xine everything works fine.

This is obviously a phonon problem. I'd reassign it there, but the report isn't very useful (how long is a piece of string, after all).

No sound in Amarok2 + Kubuntu Jaunty RC1, if Phonon GStreamer backend is used.
Xine works, but doesn't let the user set the sound level right!
