Version: 0.70.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Arch Linux) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-ARCH When I select 'Group All Messages in Same Chat Window' in Behavior->Chat, in the Main Menu of the chat window "No Text" is mentioned instead of "Tools". How to reproduce: 1. Settings->Configure 2. Behavior->Chat 3. Select 'Group All Messages in Same Chat Window' in Grouping policy. 4. Start a chat conversation
This reminds me bug 179706. Is your KDE installation clean ? Can you reproduce this also with a new test user account ? Thanks
I guess my installation is clean.. I tried with a test account and it didn't have the "No text" issue.. so should i backup the .kde4 folder and create a new one?

You could try. And if the "No Text" issue doesn't reappear: you can try manually moving the old config files to the .kde4 folder, to restore your original configuration step by step. Thanks
I reinstalled KDE and no longer suffer from this problem. please close this bug
Ok. Thanks.
