Description Claus Appel 2009-04-12 18:18:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

This bug report pertains to the "Invert" effect (program version: 0.2.0) that is accessible under System Settings -> Desktop Effects -> All Effects -> Accessibility -> Invert. (I could not find it in the list of applications. Someone please move this report to the relevant subsection.)

The problem is this: It does not work for fullscreen applications.

Examples include the programs Okular and Gwenview. Invert works fine when these programs run in windowed mode, but if you switch to full screen view, Invert now does nothing (regardless of whether I am using Invert only for the window or for all windows).

However, if I have the full-screen application placed BELOW the KDE task bar, Invert works fine. (This can be achieved by hopping from your full-screen application to another desktop/workspace, clicking the taskbar, and hopping back to the desktop/workspace containing the full-screen application.)
