Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Screenie-qt is an app to create apple-style Screenshots (angle and reflections). Right now you have to take a screenshot with ksnapshot and then drop it into screenie. It would be nice, if those two apps would get one. I did a mockup, maybe you get an idea what i mean. http://img366.imageshack.us/img366/5474/ksnapshotmockup.png
The aim of ksnapshot is to keep things very simple, so integration in the way you describe won't happen. However, there is the possibility of having a companion program for ksnapshot that the screenshots can be sent to that does post processing of this sort. I spent some time discussing the requirements for something like this with Nuno Pinhero and others at last years Akademy.
What about an "Edit..." button that (similar to the "SendTo..." button) contains a list of applications suitable for editing the image? The difference to the "SendTo..." button would be that after you save the image using one of those "Edit..." applications, the image preview in ksnapshot gets updated with the new image.
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
