It seems Konsole is rendering wrong letters and i can't work that way :(

How to produce?

Open split view (ctrl+shift+t) and then open third tab. Try to use bash/Vi :(

Can anyone confirm?

Ohhh, I'm using compiz for my desktop and kubuntu 9.04b.

This thing also happend with amarok when i was using gnome..

Are you using an NVidia graphics card? If so, please:

1) Make sure you have the latest NVidia drivers

Or if you have Qt 4.5 installed, try running Konsole with

2) konsole -graphicssystem raster

Hi Robert
Yes I'm using latest Nvidia drivers (180.44)

Most of times it does render like it need but sometimes it doesn't :(
I have QT 4.5 and i tried "konsole -graphicssystem raster"
But at moment i don't have same problem :/
It seems if i restart the program is working very well again...

Sorry guys but this is not KDE bug :)
If i use Kwin for my desktop instead of compiz everything is working fine....

sorry for bugging you... I marked this bug as downstream...

If someone wants to solve this he can by turning option in Workaround "Force sync between X and GLX" to On.

I hope it helps somebody....
