Description SlashDevDsp 2009-04-10 15:34:29 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
Compiler:          g++ 4.1.3
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

Text alongside icons option does not work.

1.systemsettings->appearence->style->fine tuning tab
change the option: Test position of toolbar elements from 'Text under icons' to 'text alongside icons'
2. click apply and try running dolphin, the 'text is still under icons' even though it was changed to 'text alongside icons' in systemsettings

Toolbar configuration is a per-application setting. If you change the text position in systemsettings, it is only applied if you have not changed it in Dolphin. There could be a "Default" entry in the menu (as for the icon size), to revert to the defaults set in systemsettings.

Changing severity, product/component, and title.

Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
