Version: (using KDE 3.5.10) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Dear maintainers, I recently updated kde3 to kde4. Before I did this, I backuped my whole directory ~/.kde to a secure place (~/kde-back/ After reinstalling kde3 and put back the secured directory to ~/.kde, all settings of my mailboxes were missing, to say exactly: Settings for receiving. Strangewise, the settings for sending mail are still there. I checked ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc, but the necessary entries for receiving mail are still in it. So I guess, they are not read properly. Is there a way, to let kmail reread the settings? I do not think, this is a real bug, maybe I have to delete some other things too, do I ? Any hints are welcome! Best regards Hans-J. Ullrich
Dear maintainers, as I switched now completedly all my clients to kde4, you can close the bugreport, if you wish. The other updates worked without any problems, so IMO you should close the bug for now. Thanks for your help! Cheers Hans
