Version: 0.70.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Arch Linux) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.29-ARCH Set/unset Configure -> Behaviour -> Chat -> Enable automatic spell checking. This option will not be applied to all contacts. Just a part of contacts will use new settings. Strings like this: [chatwindow_JabberProtocol:aaa@jabber.xx:bbb@jabber.xx] EnableAutoSpellCheck=true in our .kopeterc may be rewritted, but may not on settings change. I can't localize this.
Chat window settings are stored per contact, so if you modified the settings from the chat window, this is what I would expect to happen. If you modified the settings from the contact list, then this is indeed a bug. If you did modify the settings from the contact list, please reopen this bug so it can be addressed.
