() #10 0x08095ee5 in _start () ------------------------------- happened when adding 3rd party repositories through term with wget and then through adept as I was not sure if the 3rd party repositories were listed, after doing this I also changed the auto feature for downloading updates for Linux from just let me know to auto download. this is all I changed.
Just sudo kwrite on sources.list and delete the third-party source lines. That worked fine for me!
