If work week or week view is selected one selects a date in the date picker, the calendar always switches back to day view.

It would be great, if it stays in the selected mode.
This would be also consistent with other calendars like google calender and outlook.

I think this bug was filed for the wrong product (kopete).

This is the intended behavior. You can stay in week view by selecting a week number in the navigator, and you can also select multiple dates in the navigator.
