Version: (using KDE 4.2.2) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs When I initiate a suspend or hibernate from the KDE power management widget or from the classic style KDE menu, the the screen will be locked before going to sleep (if configured to do so). But when I initiate the suspend/hibernate from the kickoff style menu, the screen always remains unclosed, regardless of the appropriate settings.
Anyway, why do I get different shutdown/restart/logout/hibernate/suspend dialogs for these places?
this is now all handled by powerdevil and in 4.3 the various widgets all use the same mechanism via Solid::Control
Still applies to kde 4.2.3. Why fixed?
