Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) Compiler: gcc 4.3 Lenny-stable Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package Please see above. Additional info: I used the packages from debian-desktop.org for my Lenny installation. So there is no backport/testing/unstable package installed.
Do you mean the KWin effect does not work (visually) or there is some other error on SystemSettings? Thanks
It does not work. I cant activate it, though i checked the activation box next to it. If i try to assign different key combinations, it still doesn't work. The windows just dont get inverted.
Reassigning to KWin (the windows manager which handles this)
what's your graphics card and driver?
Nvidia Ti4200, with the debian-lenny package 96.43.07-2.
sorry this driver version does not support Shaders, which are required for this effect. If possible please try a more recent version of the driver.
Ok, but Compiz can support inverted windows with the same driver.
(In reply to comment #7) > Ok, but Compiz can support inverted windows with the same driver. Lucky compiz, they write their shader effects in GPU assembler.
