Description spamfang1199 2009-04-07 17:15:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Compiler: gcc 4.3 Lenny-stable
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

Please see above.

Additional info: I used the packages from debian-desktop.org for my Lenny installation. So there is no backport/testing/unstable package installed.

Do you mean the KWin effect does not work (visually) or there is some other error on SystemSettings?
Thanks

It does not work. I cant activate it, though i checked the activation box next to it. If i try to assign different key combinations, it still doesn't work. The windows just dont get inverted.

Reassigning to KWin (the windows manager which handles this)
Comment 4 Martin Flöser 2009-04-07 20:24:00 UTC
what's your graphics card and driver?
Comment 5 spamfang1199 2009-04-10 10:35:49 UTC
Nvidia Ti4200, with the debian-lenny package 96.43.07-2.
Comment 6 Martin Flöser 2009-04-10 11:00:21 UTC
sorry this driver version does not support Shaders, which are required for this effect.

If possible please try a more recent version of the driver.
Comment 7 spamfang1199 2009-04-11 13:26:44 UTC
Ok, but Compiz can support inverted windows with the same driver.

Lucky compiz, they write their shader effects in GPU assembler.
