Version: 0.99.01 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-custom Problem: Currently, in knode, a user can subscribe to newsgroups and rename the news group to his liking. If there are many news groups, the list becomes cluttered and it is difficult to focus on the high priority ones. One workaround I currently use is to rename news groups to something like N - NewsGroupName This helps me prioritize the news groups on the basis on N. Before I move further, I'd like the explain the wishlist first. Akregator has this feature where I can subscribe to hundreds of news feeds and categorize them under individual folders. Given the above problem statement, what I do in akregator is is that I add folders like 1 Priority, 2 Priority and so on. And now I had my favorite feeds to the relevant folders. Currently, I have 5 priority 1 feeds. All are high volume. To be fair that none of the priority 1 feeds get starved, I access the feeds from the "1 Priority" folder. This way I get a fair date wise feed list for all priority 1 feeds. This is a very cool feature. My wishlist request is to have a similar model in knode wherein we could add favorite newsgroups to individual folders and then get a collective listing of all news in the folder itself.
