Description Wolfgang Pauli 2009-04-04 18:58:34 UTC
Version: 1.11.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler: kubuntu ppa.launchpad.net 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1~intrepid1
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

I think the short description says everything.

I type ctrl+n to start writing new mail
while writing it, I decide not to continue and press ctrl+w
pop-up "Close composer - Kmail" appears, asking "Do you want to save the message for later or discard it?", I press discard and it still saves it in the drafts folder.

I had this problem as well, but only when selecting 'discard' with the cursor keys. The problem didn't occur when choosing discard with the mouse.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Pauli 2009-05-14 17:30:55 UTC
Yes, it is only when I selected with the cursor key now. Seems like some applications don't allow that anymore. E.g. closing a console tab with ctrl+alt+w forces you to use the mouse to confirm. very annoying.

Seems to work fine here with KDE 4.3, I can use the keyboard and it is not saved as draft.
