Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

If one clicks on the icon to open the menu one cannot start to type right away or use the cursor keys to navigate since the menu does not have the focus. After clicking into the search field it works. It seems kickoff fails to steal the focus when activated.
