Using F4, it is possible to open the terminal panel in dolphin. That's great.

An interesting possibility would be to open a terminal window that is not at all related to dolphin.

I know you can unlink the terminal panel from dolphin window, but I talk about a reel terminal.

Thanks for the nice suggestion! It's already been implemented for KDE 4.3.0: "Open Terminal" from the Tools menu or Shift-F4 will do the trick :-)
