Version:           1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 4.9", openSUSE 11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-9-pae

to select an address for an email to be sent I typed the beginning characters of the name. Then a small window pops up with a selection of possible choices. After I have chosen and the correctly chosen address is in the To-window the selection window doesn't close until I push the send-button. When I move the main composer window on the screen the selection window stays put.

I'm not able to reproduce it on current trunk. Can you try it on newer KDE version like 4.2.2? It has been heavily improved since 4.1.x.

Moreover, are you using compositing (desktop effects like shadows, transparency ecc)??

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
