Description H.H. 2009-04-01 17:56:44 UTC
Version:           0.70.50 (using 4.2.68 (KDE 4.2.68 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090327)) "release 1.1", KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.11-0.1-pae

I tried to add a new icq contact (with icq number). but my recent kopete/kde4 version only creates an empty contact, without even an icq symbol, totally useless.

I now did add the contact successfully with kopete/kde3: after adding the contact the icq-number appeared in the contact-list and shortly after that, the contact's name, still have to be authorized.

so it must be a bug in the recent kopete/kde4 version?

Could you reproduce this (it works here) if so could you start Kopete from console and see if Kopete prints any warning there (it should).
