Description Yngve Levinsen 2009-04-01 17:17:06 UTC
Version: 1.11.0 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-11-generic

I have a wish that kmail would truncate e-mail addresses (To addresses and CC addresses) in the mail view when they exceed a certain number (this number being small). When you get an e-mail that was sent to hundreds of people at one time and the sender don't know that he/she should have been using bcc, it is slightly annoying to have to scroll for quite some time before you get to the actual message. Sadly, administration sends these kind of mails every day...

As a suggestion for implementation (to further explain the wish) I imagine the first few addresses being shown, then three dots or something similar that would be clickable (clicking action would be to show all). However, you probably have a much better idea than me (God you've made a lot of nice features!), so I leave the implementation fully up to you (of course)!

And as always, keep up the great work! :)

And also as always, there are certain points I forget to mention. I'm here talking about the fancy and/or enterprise headers. I have noticed that I could choose brief headers, but then I don't see to whom the message is sent. This is often an interesting information, but when there are few people in the list.

Ey, just noticed the feature is there now in KDE 4.4 (or am I dreaming?)

Thanks to whoever implemented this, you guys rock!
