Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs I want to change the highlight color of KOrganizer 4.2.1, which is purple by default in the date navigator and for selected areas in the agenda. The handbook (http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepim/korganizer/config.html) says that there would be a "highlight color" option in the color settings, but there is not. Was this lost by accident while porting to KDE4?
Can you attach a screen shot, I don't see nothing purple in the navigator.
Screenshot 1 shows purple highlights in the date navigator and as selected area in the agenda view: http://linuxmag.de/pastebin/korganizer1.jpg Screenshot 2 shows that no highlight color setting can be selected http://linuxmag.de/pastebin/korganizer2.jpg Since no highlight color can be selected (although this was possible according to the manual), I would expect that the default KDE highlight color is used. But it is not, as this systemsettings screenshot shows: http://linuxmag.de/pastebin/systemsettings.jpg
Have you had the chance to verify the issues in my screenshots yet?
I confirm it's not configurable in KDE4
Is there at least a config line I could add to the korganizerrc?
Look for the [Theming] group and add the Agenda Grid Highlight Color option. This option affects both the agenda and the calendar navigator, I think that's why it was removed. [Theming] Agenda Grid Highlight Color=100,100,100
Works perfectly, thanks! Shall I close the bug now?
(In reply to comment #7) > Works perfectly, thanks! Shall I close the bug now? If you want, you're the reporter. And the default color is not purple, it's blue or at least it's bluer than purpler :)
No bug but a missing feature. Can be worked around by configuring in settings file directly. Nevertheless, would be a nice-to-have feature.
