It would be nice to be able to drag and drop a folder from the folder tree view on the tab-bar to open the folder in the target tab or in a new one if dropped on the empty part of the bar, pretty much as konqueror does with links.

Would already be nice to have "Open as new tab" in a mailbox folder's context menu. That'd be the first step, IMHO.

For now, please reassign this ticket to kmail2.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
