Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages I've set up a remote calendar in KOrganizer which has worked well for me in KDE 4.0 and 4.1. But performance in KDE 4.2 isn't as stable. When I create a new event the calendar is uploaded correctly via FTP, the timestamp on the server changes accordingly. When I close KOrganizer and reopen it again by clicking on the reminder daemon in the system tray the application loads the remote calendar but overwrites it with an older version. I see the event which should have been uploaded for a few seconds, but as soon as the calendar is fetched the event disappears. Creating a new subscription to the same remote calendar downloads all the events, including the recently created. It also seems to influence the old subscription, because the events appear on that calendar as well when the new subscription is loaded.
Shouldn't happen with akonadi. Try kdepim 4.6.
