About the action of right click in a pdf document, id like to propose 2 wishes to be included in okular

1- Right click → Zoom in / zoom out
2- Right click → print

Any reason why you want to clutter more the right click menu with those items? Aren't they easily accesible enough from the menu and/or toolbar and/or shortcut?
Comment 3 Dimitrios Glentadakis 2011-09-02 20:50:38 UTC
In fact this wish was started with some problems printing a pdf file but actually i dont use this anymore... i wanted to be secured in further usage.

But you are right there is no real need.

I marked as invalid to let developers spent efforts in more essential bugs/wishes

I would like to have more actions in the right-hand menu when Okular is running as a KPart in another application, for example rekonq.

Okular KPart doesn't get a toolbar or any shortcuts, which is where all the actions are. The KPart only gets a context menu , which contains add/previous/next bookmark -- not that useful when just accessing an online document. At least the zoom would be nice. Or a way to get the toolbar back.
Comment 5 Albert Astals Cid 2011-09-06 14:50:07 UTC
#4 That is a bug in rekonq, they do not properly implement kpart loading

Just for the record: bug 254566 tracks the lack of toolbars in KParts embedded in rekonq, bug 240150 is for key shortcuts not being passed through to the KPart.

Screenshot of a window with no menus

There is a case when the window does nt have a menubar and there is no option to print the document.
The only way is with Ctrl+P but you have to know this combination
