Description Zen 2009-03-24 19:49:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When showing images by tag (left panel) all images including that tag are shown separated by their respective albums/folders. It would be really nice if images could now be moved into different albums by just dragging and dropping them and with cut & paste operations.

Hum, can already do that with drag & drop... isn't it ?

Hi, Gilles,

clarification:
From the very left edge choose "Tags", tag list is displayed on the left side. Pick a tag which has pictures in different folders. Try drag & drop an image from one folder to another.

Doesn't work for me.

From left side bar, in tags tree view, selecting an item will focus changes in icon view. You cannot changes tags assignation to move a treeview item place to another one.

But open right sidebar in Captions & Tags. Select a tag and d&d it to icon view : you can assign tag to items.

Also, d&d works too, between tags treeview and album treeview : just move item to sidebar button on the left side and wait a little, the view will change automatically. You can now drop item to assign tag to album content.

You are right, this way it works. I notice one strange thing though: the context menu in this view offers 'copy' & 'paste' but strangely no 'cut'. Should be added I think.
