Description graham 2009-03-24 19:00:17 UTC
Version: 2.0.2 (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Amarok 2.0.2 regularly skips over every other song in my playlist.

When it reaches the end of a track, it starts the next track and then after ~2s of playing that track it automatically skips on to the next track (which it then plays to completion).

Unfortunately its not consistent... although Amarok exhibits this skipping behaviour it doesn't happen for *every* song in my playlist. It does skip more often than it plays correctly, but its not 100% consistent for "every" song. :|

Previous versions of Amarok did not exhibit this behaviour.

I do not have "Fadeout" configured, which I've confirmed both by going into the configuration dialog and by viewing the "~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc" file and verifying that "Playback.Fadeout=false" and that "Playback.FadeoutOnExit=false".

Am currently configured to use Xine as my playback engine.

RPM package versions are as follows:
  amarok-2.0.2-3.fc10.x86_64
  phonon-backend-xine-4.3.1-2.fc10.x86_64
  xine-lib-1.1.16.2-3.fc10.x86_64
  xine-lib-pulseaudio-1.1.16.2-3.fc10.x86_64
