Description Sander Alberink 2009-03-24 14:43:54 UTC
Version:           2.0-SVN-Neon (using 4.2.65 (KDE 4.2.65 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090226)), Project Neon)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

When creating a dynamic playlist (without biasses) and playing it, Amarok seems to skip about every other song. Only the very first half second or so can be heard. If you then manually click the song just skipped, it plays fine, so the audio files themselves are fine.
All audiofiles are in mp3 format.

Steps for reproduction:
* clear playlist
* g oto dynamic playlists and press "repopulate"
* play the playlist

Seems very similar to BUG 180339, so I'm closing it as a dupe.

Thanks for looking into this, however the symptons I'm experiencing do not look like bug 180339 at all. For me, playback doesn't halt and Amarok continues to function just fine. It just skips forward a track in the playlist. When it skips a track, you will hear the first 200-500 ms of the track being skipped before it continues to the next track which it will play in its full entirity.

So please reopen this bug, as they do not seem related to me.
