2.unlock widgets
3.zoom out present activity and add another activity
4.try ctrl+l to lock/unlock widgets or ctrl+shift+n to switch between
activities
5.It is not working

Please look at the bug
https://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=48228

Under KDE SC 4.3.4 (Debian), if I press "ALT+D, Left/Right" (instead of the step #4 described previously), it switches between the different activities without any problem.
Comment 2 Dhiraj Kumar Hazra 2010-01-17 12:38:00 UTC
Yes ,but the kde 4.2 with qt4.5 the plasma shortcuts were not
working.See for example mandriva 2009.1 which contains kde 4.2.4.
So seems it is not resolved.
Can you please test?
I am not talking about kde 4.3
Comment 3 Beat Wolf 2010-01-17 12:42:52 UTC
kde 4.2 is not supported officialy by kde anymore, and there will be no more kde 4.2.x releases. But the bug is fixed in a more recent version of kde, so from the point of view of kde, the bug is indeed fixed.
If you want that bug fixed in your distribution, you have to report it there and ask for a backport of the fix.
thank you
