Version: 2.9.4 (using KDE 4.2.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I wish Yakuake had an option to show system tray icon when it is running, like for Kopete or Amarok. I think this feature is very nice for applications that can run in the background, and that it would be as usefull for yakuake to have as it is for Kopete or Amarok. The nicest reason to me is that in a glance you know that it is running. And also, another easy access way to yakuake, just leftclick to show/hide and rightclick for settings menu. Best Regards, Jonas Ps. Really like the new Icon, very clean look, it would shine in my system tray. :D
Small tip: Ever since Yakuake 2.9.1, re-running Yakuake will show/hide it if it's already running, so you can get the left click behavior of your proposed tray icon already by simply putting Yakuake in your panel. That said, an optional system tray icon may still be a nice thing.
Thank you, I know of this tip. Good if you delete your yakuake-shortcut. ;P (Works similar with Kopete, Ktorrent and Amarok too, but of course, they can't slide).
That was recently added: setupMenu
