Description Vadym Krevs 2009-03-20 16:59:43 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 108", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.20-1-debug

I've got a dual-monitor setup. Start konsole from taskmanager and it is displayed on one screen. Drag the konsole window to the other screen and exit by closing the window (or choosing Exit from konsole's menu or by typing Ctrl-D or exit in the terminal window). Konsole window disappears. Start konsole again from task manager. Instead of appearing where it was when I closed it, the konsole window again appears on the first screen.

This is likely a kwin issue. Have you tried on a recent KDe 4.4.x setup?
Comment 2 Vadym Krevs 2010-06-04 16:23:58 UTC
Basically yes. The konsole window reappears in random positions.
Comment 3 Vadym Krevs 2010-06-04 16:24:25 UTC
Even in KDE 4.4.3.
Comment 4 Kurt Hindenburg 2011-03-04 21:15:40 UTC
A while ago there is an option to force Konsole to remember size and location.
