Description Alex Back 2009-03-19 18:13:34 UTC
Version: 4.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.1)
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.3.2 20081105 (Red Hat 4.3.2-7)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Suppose you enter a description for a new To-Do with e.g. following text:

--snip--
This is my description

with some line

breaks.
Even multiple

empty lines.
--snip--

If you save this description as rich-text (checking the box "Rich text" at the button above) the Item Viewer displays too much line breaks.

You can easily see the difference when editing the To-Do and toggling the "Rich text" checkbox and applying this directly to update the view of the Item viewer.

When saved as normal text everything is displayed correctly.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
