if i select a couple of messages in the message list and then right click in the message window, the selection in the message list is reset to only the message i am currently viewing.  i wouldnt expect any mouse behavior like this in the message window to affect the message list.  it's a pain if you select a bunch of messages with the intent of deleting but notice a link in one you wish to d/l before doing so ...
