Version: 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 108" (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) "release 108", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.19-3.2-default I've opened an RDP session to a Windows XP desktop and am running an application (FAR file manager) that relies on being able to handle Alt-F2. However, KRDC does not pass this key combination to the application, instead KDE's krunner is started.
Have you also tried with the "Grab all possible keys" action?
Yes, I did - it did not seem to make any difference.
Did you also have this issue with a previous version of Qt and KDE? If not, what versions?
Sorry, the comment above was meant for your other bug report :P Hmm, I cannot reproduce this issue. If I enable "Grab all possible keys" it works fine. (and with RDP it also works without if the RDP screen does have the focus...) Can you also reproduce this issue if your run rdesktop from command line?
Yep, rdesktop does not grab Alt-F2 either.
Ok, thanks for testing. Not sure if we can find a way to fetch this keyboard input. I will think about a possible solution.
Well, it used to work just fine in KDE 3.5.10 ...
