Description Peter Lewis 2009-03-18 11:34:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

If the cookie policy "ask for confirmation" is enabled (and "treat all cookies as session cookies" is disabled), Konqueror should ask whether to accept cookies when they come from a domain which it is not familiar with.

However, the behaviour observed is:
- for the first cookie encountered, the dialog box is presented.
- if "accept all cookies from this domain" is selected, then all cookies from *all* domains are instead accepted, and konqueror no longer asks for confirmation for any cookies.

This used to work (at least before 4.2, possibly not since before 4.0).

Thanks.

Works here with kdelibs trunk and Qt-4.5, the Qt-4.5 fix seems to have fixed this. Can you upgrade to Qt-4.5 and confirm?

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I'm running Qt 4.5 with KDE 4.2.1 - is that perhaps the problem?

I don't want to install trunk as yet on this machine, but will report back after the next upgrade :-)
